The Cape Cod area was once home to many lighthouses. Some remain standing; others have fallen into decay, or were sold to individuals. This light, once known as Harding’s Beach Light, passed into private ownership and the cupola was removed. The light is portrayed as the artist envisioned it would have been in an earlier era.
