 | Night Watch Over The Bay Point Bonita Light guards the seaward approach to the Golden Gate and the San Francisco Bay. Its warning light guides ships away from the deadly rocks that provide the foundation for the light. |
 | Nantucket Treasure There may have been as many as ten different light towers marking Brant Point, near the entrance to Nantucket’s main harbor. The residence and tower date to 1856. The Light, established in 1746, still stands today, although it is not an active aid to navigation. |
 | Morning Light Block Island North Light is built on Sandy Point—the northern point of Block Island, Rhode Island. This light was built in 1867 and served until 1973. An automated offshore beacon replaced it. There were three earlier lights on this point. North Light is a fifty-foot tall granite building. |
 | Victorian Lady Also known as Southeast Light, this gracious Victorian brick building sits atop Mohegan Bluffs. Built in 1875, the octagonal tower is 67 feet tall. The light had a first order Fresnel lens. In 1993 the light was moved 300 feet inland to protect it from ongoing erosion. |
 | Dunes and Light at Cape Lookout Cape Lookout Light is within the barrier Islands off North Carolina and warns ships of hidden shoals. The light as we know it today is 169 feet above sea level and was built in 1859. |
 | The Forgotten Light The Forgotten Light, also known as Race Point Light,is near Provincetown on Cape Cod. Its isolated location made it unpopular with its keepers. Although it fell into disrepair after it was automated in 1978, it has since been restored. |
